'65 Rear exhaust panel #

Today when I was working on my exhaust i found some numbers on my rear exhaust panel, can anyone tell me what this will say???

Generally those ink stamps can be found on many of the fiberglass panels as well as door trim and other items, they are a manufacturer's date stamp for parts from outside vendors.

Possibly Shift, AM, PM not certain how each supplier dated, but not uncommon to see the stamps.

Believe a 63 panel was made differently than the 64/65 at least around the exhaust hole. If that is so than the 1963 would not work!

I've got no problems fitting the bezel tips trough, the exhaust extensions are correct for a '64/'65

He went over the differences of the 63, 64/65, & 66/67 rear valance panels.


From his description it looks like the 63 valance would be very different from yours So if you have a 63 valance then that date would make sense, but if a later panel do not think it would have a 63 date on it due to configuration. So the "3" may not mean 1963, now what it does mean I have no idea.

I believe it is March 13, with no year used.
