Also, bear in mind that '61 and later wiper blade holders differ ever so slightly from their '60 and earlier counterparts. The difference is the length of the release tab on the bayonet socket of the holder where it slips over the wiper arm.
The early style blades were known as finger nail 'breakers' since the release tab BEARLY extends beyond the bayonet socket on the blade holder. The later styles blade holders have a release tab that extends further, maybe 1/4" from the bayonet socket...Comment
