Can an original 1966 grill be properly refinished (chrome in particular) or is it not worth doing since they are readily available in the aftermarket? The reason I ask is that I understand that while the original grill had the part number embossed, the replacements that are available do not. I can get an excellent original for about half of new, but the chrome is not perfect.
If rechroming is a viable option who does it and roughly how much should I expect to pay?
Thanks,
Larry
