Wasn't in a vette but took a couple of pics in highlands NC at bridal vail falls. Would make a great pic if you wanted one with your vette under the fall..next trip up there I'll be sure to be in the vette.



as you can see here your vette won't get soaked if you take the pic with the top down.

Sure is, had the itch to ride up there that day (I'm in SC but only 1hr from highlands) but the valve covers were getting re-chromed on the vette so took a different ride.

but yeah super curvy roads up that way.

First road trip I am going to take when I get the 66 back together. The Carolinas Chapter had our fall meet in the mountains for several years. Our road trips were something to look forward to on those roads. You haven't lived unless you have chased a certain light blue solid axle Corvette on NC Hwy 149

The Tail of The Dragon on Highway 129 in N.C. is a great ride.
When we go to the Corvette meet in Knoxville we sometimes drive over there.

I plan to do the dragon soon! heard they even have a "tree of shame" decroated with bike parts since there have been so many bikes lost on the dragon haha.

thanks! it's my "other" baby. It has really been babied it's an 87 (last year for that body in the trucks) and (1st/only year for the 350 optionin the truck line) and (fuel injection option) which it has along with dual tanks and it currently has 63k original miles on it., it gets washed and babied more than any vette my family/me have ever owned no joke! Still puts off a decent shine too

Where's the dent that you were so upset about. Did you take our advice and use "Dent Busters"?
