C-1 Exhaust Manifold Bolt Spacer Finish

What is the correct finish for the exhaust manifold bolt spacers used on C-1 Corvettes? These are the thick washers used on the two outer bolts on each end of the manifold. I have seen them in silver cad and also what looked like black phosphate. Want to be sure before I install them. Thanks Rich

I've never seen a silver cad spacer - all I've seen are dark phosphated.

I've seen silver cad repros, and dark phosphate originals--seconding Jack's input.

It should be painted engine orange along with the manifold so the plating, if any, isn't an issue.
