'58 Wiper Washer Coordinator rebuild?

Hey folks,

Is anybody out there restoring windshield Washer coordinators? I have one for a '58 (doesn't work), had heard someone was successfully doing them 15 years or so ago (Tom Maxwell??), but that nobody is doing them now (at least reliably).

Any help would be appreciated!!

I believe Maxwell is still in that business (was the last time I checked).

But, for best results, consider pulling ALL of the WSW components and sending them out so they can be tested/verified as a system. It wouldn't be the first time there were several component issues (integrity of vac storage & check valve, integrity of vac washer pump, Etc.). Age is your enemy and faulty vac seals here/there can result in all kinds of 'funnies'...

I second the Tom Maxwell suggestion but have one additional item. The units need to be "exercised" regularly. It is best to make this one of your last restoration items so that you can use it occassionally. Inactivity will undo your restoration otherwise.
