    Bolt color and hood support

    Am restoring a 63 327/250hp powerglide coupe.
HOOD SUPPORT: Mine is attached at the bottom by two bolts that go through the fender well and have flat washers, lock washers and nuts. To remove the support these nuts would have to be removed from inside the fender well. Was this how the bottom of the hood support was attached orginally?
BOLT HEAD COLOR: The bolt that holds the alternator bracket to the water pump. The water pump is orange, the bracket is black. Is the bolt head natural, orange or black? I have been unable to find a picture or description of this bolt.
Any assitance with these matters is most appreicated.
    Thanks, Tom Allen
