Can you recall and name as many as you can of the movies and television shows that were made with Corvettes in them? What was the earliest movie or television show made with a Corvette in it?

PS: I sure hope that silver C-2 and white C-4 Corvette convertibles that were destroyed in the movie 'Con Air' were props.

Harry, it doesn't matter if you "cheated". I thought it might be a good wintertime discussion for comments and banter, even get people to watch some of those often obscure movies. There is just something about Corvettes being in movies that just takes those movies to another level. Even the bad ones.

Given a little more time, I plan to look at all the pages of the website to see if I recognize any of them. I didn't notice, after 10 pages, but were there any ads? My 63 was in a Chevrolet ad back in 1990 as a prop and cruising by done in Chicago on the lake front. In the prop, it appears as part of a car show in the background for about 2 nano seconds, and not much more than that in a drive by in Evanston. They made us stay in place with our tops down during a rain shower, then kindly came out to wipe down our cars with dirty towels - ugh! It toojk place over two days, and I did get 2 big ones for each day ($400.), so the damp interior wasn't too bad.

Route 66 was possibly the earliest TV show to feature the Corvette. Here are two reasons why I was a Dallas fan.

When I saw that movie back then I was the only one in the theater who groaned instead of cheering at that scene.

There was also a '57 black/silver FI on an episode of Hawaiian Eye driven by "Cricket Blake", I believe one in the Sebring scenes of Surf Side Six and I had 2 appear on "Police Radar".

does anyone remember a movie called King of the Mountain??? I saw it at the drive in around 1980-82. Dennis Hopper drove a C2 vette in a race scene down a mountain. Mullholland Dr. maybe. Too many yrs ago

Drew Barrymore made a movie in 1992 called "Poison Ivy" in which she wrecks a 1966 big block.
