I am trying to install the lower inner control arm on my 58. I have the rebuild kit from cc. The kit came with 2 different rubber rings/seals. There is one that is about 1/4" thick that is beveled in on both sides and fits easily onto the lower inner shaft. The other rubber ring is a much smaller diameter and doesn't want to fit anywhere. The manual only shows one seal that is threaded onto the shaft prior to installing the control arm and bushing. Can someone offer an explanation for the 2 rubber rings/seals? Can I assume the larger seal is the correct seal that will seat against the edge of the lower control arm?
Thanks,
Jim
