C1 hood support question

Looking through e-bay I came across a vary interesting item, a seller that was selling a NOS C1 hood support. Anyway he mentions the later JM 59 up was the reason he was selling it because the (spring washer had "6' segments ) and the JM said it should have "4". See pic's. So he is correct "4" not "6" //so it may be a second design from GM and also has a gold look instead of Cad . Any one reading this have an idea that it could be a second design or later?? My 55 does have four! Thanks

Not a second design for production--62 #14530 (2nd last solid axle) still has the "4". The "6" has been an incorrect GM replacement for many years.

Mike thanks so it's a over the parts counter replacement and all C1's had "4"
