You must have some kind of high definition monitor and eyes. Even when I blow up my original the indents are very faint. Jim is right that it is easier to feel them than see them.
Don,
Do you actually have the courtesy lamp (FOA 108) under the dash above the center pillar? If there is just an opening, it should have a block off cover painted the interior color.
