Help! What is the correct casting number for a 1966 steering box?

Cover has part number #5666723. The only reference to a casting figure on the box is a "S" logo on the outward side.

Looks like i have 5668723. I need to get it rebuilt, but if it is not the correct box why bother. I would like to find the correct one.

They're all the same casting number; the only variation is the cover.

I'm blind, I have the right one. I guess it is best to have it rebuilt?

Technically, it's from a '65, but the next car produced was a '66 .

If the lash screw in the cover looks like the one shown in Wayne's picture you're probably going to need gears.
