just came in from snow blowing the drives,we have about 10". rather do that than be pumping out the flood waters or using a hose to put out the forest fires.

You don"t know what snow is until they have to send heavy equipment to free up the snow plows that were just trying to clear one lane of the road. We do not think of plowing "till we have 6" or more. All my friends now live very south of me.Hmmm?

Doesn't the St Bernard, have the small brandy keg on his collar like on the cartoons? We only got 2 inches up on the Canadian border.

21 inches here on the upper portion of Cape Cod. Time to sit in the garage and stare, wishing for Spring. At least my new John Deere made short work of the snow

                    Steve,
How about spending Christmas on Mt. Cook? It should have snow year round.
                    Cheers,

Just got back from a quick ride. Not top, 20* snow everywhere but on roads. Heater works great. Goes for paint in 3 weeks, so who cares about salt, slush, not me

                        Charlie,
Could do but the snow will be to high now. Not quite the same without the whole christmas thing as well, adding to the atmosphere
