I click on it, but it's one of those generic "buy this domain name" type of places. Did you get the link correct?

I see that a big part of that site is dedicated to Yenko cars. I grew up in the Pittsburgh area, and belonged to the "Steeltown Corvettes" club in the mid to late 70's - and Don Yenko was the President of the club. He attended meetings reguarly - and sponsored car shows at his dealership. Wahat a cool guy he was!

I had a low mileage 72 Corvette that came from Scuncio Chevrolet. Their decal was a "snake" and it was cool looking. The books that fellow has are impressive.- Top

The picture on the far right on the Home page is me when I was 21 with my 1970 Chevelle LS6 automatic. One of the first five to be delivered to Canada. Sold out of Belmont Chevrolet in Toronto. Sold it to buy my 1969 Corvette 427/390 auto, which has been in storage since 1978.

Palmyra Motors in Palmyra, New York was not only the Largest Corvette Dealer in the USA back in the day. Also had a good selection of SS Chevelle's,Camaro's,Nova's, and lots of Z/28's. Those were the days.- Top

Palmyra Motors was also known as "Shady Deals". Kitty VanBortel is doing fine in her Subaru and Ford truck dealership.
I went by there a few days ago. The place is still there, but I don't know what business it is now.

Re: Northeast HiPo Chev Dealers from the sixties
Tom Austin, I also remember the "Steeltown Corvettes" show at Yenko Chev. In about 1976, 77, or 78 I drove my first, just completed 57 FI Corvette to Yenko Chev for the "annual show". After driving from home (east of Monroeville Pa.) approx 35 miles. I won First in Class, & Best of Show. Trophys were presented by Don Yenko himself. Some of the trailered "show Car" owners were not too happy, but agreed that a fresh black 57 Fuel car was hard to beat. Quite a good start for first show. I still have the trophys at home. Hi Barry,
Yep . . . I bought my '66 in Swissvale in 1975 when I lived in Whitehall. Moved to the Bridgeville area in early 80's and attended the Yenko car shows for a few years in a row. Entered my car on May 15, 1983 - and won 2nd place!!! Still have the trophy!!! Happy Holidays!!!
