Here is a 1967 Trim Tag for sale on Ebay. It is a strange Trim Tag that I have never seen before and was wondering if it is authentic.

Re: Rare 67 Trim Tag?
Rick your probably only looking for a 67 trim tag to replace that goofy one you have on your car..
On a more serious note, like already mentioned a yellow C3, with STD (black) interior. From what I see, the yellow 983 trim code was used for, 68, 69, and 70, and not used after that. The K28, would take it out of consideration for 1970, since they only made that model year for a few months with the last code being a "G" (July). So I believe only technically correct for a 68 or 69 car.
That being said and the ad stating:
"CORVETTE "VERY RARE ORIGINAL CORVETTE AO SMITH TRIM TAG ,, TRIM STD /// PAINT 984 ////// BUILD DATE K28 . A MUST HAVE FOR A NCRS TYPE MID YEAR RESTO , TOP FLIGHT , NOT REPOP REAL DEAL GOOD LUCK BIDDING " NO RESERVE"
I hope I am at B-J auction when the midyear, A O Smith car, with this tag on it goes across the block. I am sure if they get that "lucky" buyer on camera, he will have the expression of a lifetime on his face when he wins. I could only hope that a picture of his face when he finds out what he really bought turns up for the rest of us to see !!!
