OK John, now that you've piqued our interest, where did the buckle cover come from and where can aspiring judges get one? BTW, they still have similar covers in the visitor's lobby at all GM assembly plants, sans the NCRS lettering.

I got it from the NCRS store a number of years ago - don't know if they still have them or not (Dave Burroughs likes me to flip it around at Bloomington so "NCRS" doesn't show - maybe he should issue nice BG covers)

I wore one to work every day for many years, and required all my folks to wear them too; we issued them free - the last thing you want in an assembly plant is exposed metal belt buckles .

They were a gift to the judges at a National Convention a long time ago. They come in red and blue. I have tried to convince the membership office to get another batch made, but so far no joy.

The one I got at Bowling Green (blue without markings) keeps the Bloomington Gold leaders happy.
