Hello to all,
On the '56 rear leaf springs, were the liners and bands also painted during the black out process?

On C1's, just about everything aft of the engine got blacked-out, and coverage varied widely. Not a lot of folks like restore them that way, though.

I kinda thought that was the way it was done but wanted to be sure before I did the springs.

Yes, they were assembled before painting.
