    1995 Wiper Arms-Trico Stamping

Does anyone have a photo of the Trico stamping on the wiper arms of 1994-1996's.

Can not locate any such stampings on my original(I think) wiper arms.

    Thanks

    Hey Pat !

Only one C4 in the place today for me to examine today. It is a 94 with what i believe to be the original arms. No Trico markings anywhere. I will continue to monitor C4's that come through the shop here for you.

On my original owner 96 the Trico stampings are VERY hard to see, as the paint nearly fills them in completely. Here's the best pic I could get of the passenger side arm.

The driver's side has the stamping on the opposite side of that arm, i.e., the front, nearer the engine.

After telling Charlie Fullam I had no signs of Trico on the 94 that is in our shop today................... I went back to the car several times searching for the elusive Trico logo. Nothing...................... Until I read Pat Moresi's post. I went back a third time and have located the Trico logo on the driver's side arm. Nothing on the right side. It is hard to see, but it's there.

Gentlemen, thanks to both of you for your help. The photo Pat provided will give me a location in which to look again. I was looking in the wrong places and I guess I should start with a magnifying glass.

Gentlemen, thanks to a good magnifying glass and knowing where to look I found the Trico stampings on both sides. They are in different places than Pat's. The driver side is almost impossible to find. It is on the hub of the arm and not on the flat surface. It is facing the engine. The passenger side has the Trico stamping towards the back of the arm and the passenger side also has stampings right next to the Trico stamping concerning various patent numbers. Need better light and a good camera to photograph these stampings.

Thanks again to both Tom and Pat for their help. Without some direction, these stampings are hard to find.

Glad I could help Charlie - we C4 guys got to stick together!

Interesting that your stampings are in different locations and have additional stamps. When I found mine I just assumed those were the only ones and didn't look any further - and as I recall, the JG doesn't mention any patent numbers.

I'm gonna look again tonight to see if I can find any other stampings and will post them if I do.

                Best Regards

Gentlemen, attached are photos, as best I could, of the Trico Stampings.
The passenger side has the Patent information. Thanks again for all your help. The Driver side is really hard to see and photograph.

Well I hate to admit it but I have a C4 1996 for a driver. Nearly 200,000 miles and I love that old beast.

The Trico is on the top on the RH side and on the bottom on the LH side. Yep, it's there but VERY hard to see.

Charlie - your "TRICO" stampings are MUCH clearer than mine, as you can see when comparing our photos. The paint nearly fills mine in completely.

After seeing the location of the patent stampings in your other photo I went back and I THINK I can see some indentations where these numbers must be, but they are so filled in it just looks like illegible "bumps."
