Just a shot in the dark but any one know who might have bought this 1955 Corvette.

don't know who bought car, but after looking at engine compartment i have a question. being serial #1392 this car is near the transition time where the vacuum advance become nonoperating and the 2351 carb is in use. this car displays a functional va and uses the 2351 carb. is this a rare combination or should this car, with a functioning vacuum advance, have a 2218 carb.

Everything on your 55 will be second design with no disputing
by the way is your wiper switch have two vacuum lines and the #5 lower shroud piece that supports the bottom area having thoses two holes

wiper switch is the one you posted. t shaped, with a cable on one end and dead ended on the other end.

Yes 55 that used the foot plunger type used that switch only// NO other design like it and you'll never see the correct one for sale , always the vacuum type and people restoring a 55 use the wrong one. It will be in the new JM

Not sure , but most all that use the plunger foot design the switch has no vacuum lines , A survey needs to be done on 55's but then there are so few left I don't see that happening in my life time so guessing on when and how things happened is all we can do now on many parts.

Just guessing 200 of 700 by the number of shielding I've sold over 20 years about 100 units.
