I just recieved the new book after a long wait for it to be published.
First impression is that it does not have as much information as the trim tag book.
Afetr reading it from front to back it does get the job done and gives us the information we need when looking at protect o plates.
The big question I have is in NCRS juding we do not give as much importance as a trim tag. If a trim tag is fake or replaced it throws up RED FLAGS and your points loss is great.
I have never seen anyone lose any points for a repo protecto tag, but I know it is required in the list of glove box items.
So I guess my point is that in judging it is not very important, BUT in purchasing a car with a fake or real plate the the book is worth the money.
