    Locating 427 Pistons (L2300F or L2268F 040)

Can anyone recommend where I can get 040 427 pistons for my 1968 L89? I'm looking for part numbers L2268F or L2300F and cannot find them. My local NAPA said that the Sealed Power pistons were not currently being produced???? Thanks for anyone's help. Bill

The 'Sound of Freedom' if not a UH-60 Blackhawk, then it must be a Corvette!

As far as I can tell, both pistons are available. Try Summit Racing for the best price. If they don't have or can't get the 0.040" oversize, then contact Performance Auto Warehouse.

When searching out internal engine parts for my '66 427 found there weren't many choices/options out there.....as the engine in the 427 ci variation was only produced 4 years. I ended up using Keith Black Hyperutectic pistons.

That was a good choice. I use and highly recommend these pistons. One must be sure, though, that the top ring gap is as specified by KB.
