    Was a vented FE gas cap ever used on early 1961 Corvettes?

      Bruce,
      I don't believe that the F-E cap with the word "VENTED" stamped in was ever used in production. I've seen quite a few original 62 s and a few early cars and they all had a plain F-E cap. Maybe some of the other members who have owned or seen a larger sample of 62 s will chime in here. I know Mike Ernst has owned and inspected a ton of 62 s. Rich
