Air Cleaner Lid Sticker Question

I have seen two different kinds of Turbojet arched stickers used on the bottom of air cleaner lids. One is fully red with silver and has TURBOJET on one side and the horsepower on the other. I have also seen this with the TURBOJET in silver and black background with the red horsepower side. Was the black background sticker used after the mid years or on other chevolet cars?

Keith, Urban legend has it that the black version was a prototype appearing on the very earliest 396 65 Vehicles, not necessarily Corvette and that by the time production arrives these were long gone. There will be some to debate this and more info comes from the other Chevrolet's equipped with 396 motors.
