I see that I have 21 sales of this book, but almost 300 of our members have looked at this thread. Is there anything I can do to engender more excitement or this basically a thud? You guys and gals aren't reluctant to tell it like it is.

Re: QUESTION:"When We Were Young With Our Corvettes"
Hi Bill,
I can't speak for anyone but me......I plan on buying your book at some point. Right now this is the season when all my entry fees for art shows must be paid....and it's a goodly amount, so the "wants" have to wait.
Congratulations on getting it into print.

Bill is there anyway you can write on the inside page some words for me and send me a copy. You will need to send it to me in Australia ! Before you do that I will send you a money order for the book and postage you will have to get a price on postage so I know how much to send you. I live in Newport, Victoria, Australia 3015.Stewy

Re: QUESTION:"When We Were Young With Our Corvettes"
You may want to think about sending copies to the Corvette monthly magazines to review. (Vette, Corvette Fever, Corvette Enthusiast, etc)
You may want to think about some sort of press release to those same magazines.
You may then want to consider having a table at Bloomington selling copies.
Just a thought....

Re: QUESTION:"When We Were Young With Our Corvettes"
Bill, I've got 3 copies coming to Australia. I tried to have them shipped to a US address ( relatives coming down for Christmas) but it won't work- card bill vs. shipping address. Anyway, I think maybe you should book to come down under for the Australian Chapter NCRS national convention in Perth in early April 2010 and autograph my copies while you are here. Let me know if you want the details. I understand there are a few Yanks (I can say that cause I'm one too) already booked to come so you won't be alone. Hope the sales go well! Richard- Top

Re: QUESTION:"When We Were Young With Our Corvettes"
Bill,
My kids have been bugging me about what I would like for Christmas. I usually tell them nothing, but you just answered the question. I want every Coevette book I can find and yours sounds very interesting. You should be hearing from someone in my family today. Thanks for making me aware of this. Hopefully your post stays on the board, but if for some reason someone finds it to be soliciting business, I think I have already copied the necessary info.
Thanks,

Re: QUESTION:"When We Were Young With Our Corvettes"
Keep in mind that only a small percentage of NCRS members visit this site, and that the total views of a thread might be the same person having a look several times over.
I'd say that having 21+ sales already is not too bad.- Top
