I just purchased a 65 BB convertible with a butte valley corvettes decal on the windshield. It originally was a silver/black car and currently has gold, brown, and black paint on various parts of the car, with fender flares and a chrome roll bar. Rumor is the car has been off the road for 30 years but looks like the car used to be road raced. Thank you in advance for any info on the corvette club or the car. Thanks.Mike

In the first one you might try the Butte Valley Cruisin' Association contact info and see if they know anything about the Corvette Club.
Just some quick leads to start with.Terry- Top

Re: Butte Valley Corvettes
Mike, NCCC or SCCA may have record of car in old publicaitons, race results, etc. You may be able to trace members from that era. I will dig out my old NCCC and SCCA stuff and see what I can find.
Good Luck!

Re: Butte Valley Corvettes
I heard this club was from the Doris California area. I have removed some of the brown paint that was over the original silver and removed the gold paint from the rear deck. This car was definitely a racer as they filled in the soft top latch hole and antenna hole and removed everything that added weight to the car, windows, radio, clock, soft top, etc. They even covered up the holes in the door panels for the vent window cranks and door locks, and removed the door handles and outside locks.Mike Doty
