    62 Stamp pad question

I am looking at a 62 327/250 with what appears to be "F" or "T" 0827HC. The original owner who is 84 has this car. He thinks the original motor was rebuilt at one time for him. I can't find this code in the Black book. Was this a replacement motor. Most everything else on the car appears original from the photos. Your thoughts?

The "HC" suffix indicates the engine was from a passenger car, Nova, El Camino, Camaro or a Chevelle. The casting date can narrow down which vehicle it went in.
Regardless if it is a Flint or Tonawanda block it was not from a Corvette.
