Hi Jeremy,

I don't have the ECL code book yet.

If I did it right (5 digits, your four plus leading with a "0"), the online calculator I used (http://www.stl-vettes.com/65Vette/bday.htm) calculates that #5920 was born on Wednesday, December 14th, 1966 - beginning with serial number 105895 and ending with 105995 for that day.

A forum search turned up three Threads with "418BA". According to the Threads, it stands for blue vinyl interior, and the "BA" makes it a convertible.

Here is Justin Nobriga's (41362) more complete answer to your question from 2005:

"dark blue vinyl interior with BA designating conv. Base units. It says not used with A31, A82, A85, C07, M35, and N03. If I'm reading this correctly, it means NO electric windows, head rests, shoulder harness, aux. hardtop, powerglide tranny, and 36.5 gallon tank."
