I used to use them along with a couple rad hose clamps to cover holes in the exhaust.

That's the first pic I've seen of a Vette with a Tonneau cover installed. I've got a cover sitting in the garage but never had the guts to drill the holes for the snaps. I also like that suction cup/strap on cargo carrier.

Here is a pic of 53 #276 wearing a tonneau cover circa 1969. The cover was in the trunk when I purchased #276 a couple of years ago. I use the cover on hot days - works great.
