    Does anyone know when the word Pliacell was first used .I have seen Pliacell on the 5552796 1960. But did the 1959 5549904/5549905 have the word Pliacell on them

      NOS passenger car shocks I picked up at a swap meet that were date coded for late 1957 did NOT have the Pliacell term stamped on them. Just the PN, Delco, Dayton OH and date code info...
