    Greetings Guys. I'm New

    Hello;
    My name is Ken, I am a newbe to this site. I have been a car Guy since age 13 or so. In the last few months I have had the time to reserect my interest in my vintage cars. I own a Black65 Fueler that I bought new in April 65. It was in my office for 30 years or so and has 7,000 miles on it. I got it up and running and am hoping for Bowtie status after a Top Flight at Kissemee and Gold, Survivor, and Benchmark at Bloomington this year.
    I like the NCRS way of restoration and am pleasantly challenged by the intricate detail required to compete there successfully.
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Ken

    Ken, welcome to the NCRS. Sounds like you have a heck of a car. Good luck with all the judging you plan on undertaking. The NCRS is a wonderful resource and a great group of guys and gals. They are beyond knowledgeable and have helped me out time and time again with technical questions I had/have. You will get a lot of input here from members, some who have had the identical issues you are faced with. Enjoy the hobby, it's a wonderful place to be a member...Regards. ARA

          Welcome to the club, you will find a great bunch of guys here who can provide assistance on any problems you might run into. For me, it's always nice to hear that another 65 is in the fleet. An original owner with a 7000 mile car, would like to see you post some photos. Good luck.

              Welcome Ken, a 7k mile '65 fuel car would be one heck of a find/resource for the Corvette community.

                        Ken,

                        Welcome! You are certainly at the right place if you want knowlegable people to help you with your '65. The car sounds like it could be a great learning tool too. We all would love to see lots of pictures! I'm not sure by what you mean that the car was in my office but I bet it was fun going to work everyday. Must be a big office or a car dealership?

                        Since you're in Ohio, you might consider joining a local Chapter if you haven't all ready. It's a great way to network with Corvette people. Ohio is fortunate to have 4 Chapters. They cover most all the state.

                          Re: Greetings Guys. I'm New

                          Guys;
                          I guess I wasn't really clear in my initial post. I will try to answer the questions that I raised.
                          1/ I did have a pretty big office. I am not a car dealer, but I sell, rent,
                          lease, rebuild, certify, design and build Powerline, Utility, and Drilling
                          Equipment.
                          2/ I don't plan to do all of those shows this year. I already did the Top
                          Flight at Kissimmee Fl., 2008, Gold, Survivor, and Benchmark at
                          Bloomington, 2009, and want to take a shot at Bowtie at the National
                          in 2010.
                          Sorry for the confusion. I will post some pictures as soon as I can get some help doing so. I am only borderline computer literate.

                            Guys;
                            I guess I was not very clear in my first post. I will try to straighten out the misunderstandings here.
                            1/ I did have a rather large office in the past. I am not a car dealer, but
                            Buy & Sell, Rent, Lease, Rebuild, and Certify Powerline, Utility, and
                            Drilling Equipment.
                            2/ I am not going to do all the shows this year. I have Already Done the
                            Kissimmee in 2008 with a Top Flight, Bloomington in 2009 with Gold,
                            Survivor, and Benchmark there in the hot sun.
                            I plan to seek the Bowtie Award this year at the National in N/C, I am sorry for any misunderstandings that my former post has brought forth.
                            I will post some pictures in the near future, when I get some help from my
                            secretary. I am only borderline computer literate.
