I pray for our armed forces and allies everyday. Back in the 60's we always got a very good meal at the chow hall on Thanksgiving and Christmas, even in Vietnam.

At the base where I am deployed, we started our day with a game of similar to football, where it was more passing and running to minimize injuries. Several units decorated their military vehicles; one even used the .50 cal and made a turkey around it. The chow halls were decorated and the officers were on the serving line. They do their best to take care of people, and no matter what the situation, I am thankful for being an American, and serving with our men and women and our allied brothers and sisters.
All the support from home is a blessing in its self.
