71 windshield "logo" question

Can someone please confirm that on a 71 tinted windshield that the term
"Shaded Soft Ray" should be etched along with the terminoligy specified in the JG? If not what term regarding the shading.
The guy at the glass co (PS auto glass) asked as he does not have a 71 image in his inventory and does not want to make a mistake.

Here's a pic of the replacement windsheild on my 71.....it was giged 2 pts at a regional.

I've tried to photo my 71 #21467. Its not to clear but it may help. I can try again if someone can give me a better technique.

Those photos were taken from the outside, passenger side, lower corner. I guess backwards would be the correct description.

The 2 pt deduct was for a replacement windsheild and I assume it was because of the DOT info.

Dave, if your camara has a Macro setting use it. I took my pic off to the side a little, not head on w/no flash.

Hi Pete,
On my 71, #6589, the logo is etched on the outside of the glass but read from the inside. I believe this is typical.

Hi Pete,
If you decide to have a new windshield made be VERY careful that you make it clear (pun) whether the logo should state ' LOF Safety Plate' or 'LOF Safety Flo-Lite'. (Please don't ask.)
