For the second time it appears my clutch plate has rusted to the flywheel and it will not break loose jacking up the rear and hitting brakes and clutch at 1500 rpm. Transmission is about 3/4 out and hope to finish removal tonight. What clutch kit is best to use? Hays etc. Car is street driven only with no modifications. Thanks

I would recommend going with a LUK clutch kit (includes pressure plate assembly, friction disc, and release bearing). This is the closest to a stock, original unit as you can get these days.
For a 1971 LT-1 application, the original clutch was an 11" with 26 spline input. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
