1961 Borg Warner T10 Transmission

I am restoring a 1961 with a build date about January 20, 1961. The Judging Guide says that early 1961's up through VIN 2400 had a cast iron case but in other places I have found that cast iron cases were used through January. I need your feedback on which case is probably correct for a late January 1961.

You should be OK with aluminum on a Jan. 20 build if the transition was @ 2400 ( you must be around #4500?).

My #4587 ( January 10 build) car has an aluminum case. I would say a late January car would definately merit an aluminum case.
