    70 LT-1 smog plumbing

I have my smog system back on the LT-1yesterday but am having a bit of trouble with one of the lines. The big lines are hooked up fine but there is a smaller line (white stripe) that comes out of the pump to...? I've gone through the AIM but it shows the line disappearing over a hump, same in the judging manual. I've been through the archive and looked at the pics and downloaded countless shots from sites over the net but that white stripe line seems to get lost in a jumble of hoses everywhere I look. Some have a white stripe line coming out of the distributor vacume advance, the pump, and the carb all tangling up enough to confuse. So, where does that hose go to coming out of the smog pump? I also have a T-split for it which splits...where?

Wayne there should be a 4 port "T" that the white striped hose connects to about 4-5 inches from the smog pump and just fwd of the right side of the carburetor. It should be white to translucent in color and rather small in size 1 port connects to the carb, 1 smog, 1 the carb CEC solenoid aft port on the solenoid and carb chock pull off. The correct "T" is a hard find item. Hope that helps. Paul 18046
Daves picture is correct I missed the info for 1970 my info was for 1971 LT-1.

Welllllllll, hehehe, that's one I downloaded and examined and...see how all the white stripe hoses disappear behind the larger hose, the mystery of what goes on over that horizon. Oops, wrong pic I flipped to one I had open instaed of the thumbnail...never mind Geez I need a second cup of coffee.

Thanks Paul I'll see if I can dig up one of those ports. Maybe somewhere there is a really good roadmap of that plumbing for us guys that tend to put on our "Stupid" hats whenever we walk into the garage.
