Re: Long Cruise in a C1 - necessary equipment to take
Great information from all!!!
I forgot to mention that the "LITTLE RED CORVETTE SYNDROME" struck again during the cruise. I was second to the last (being red) with the last car also being red (a C5). I kept my eye on my rear view mirror to make certain that I did not loose him. While going through a small town I noticed the infamous blue flaming lights behind him. I briefly (only very briefly) thought about pulling over too but decided against it as I have a conceal carry permit and was carrying heat (26 baby Glock).
He was ticketed for going 54 in a 35 mile per hour zone (speed trap area). The kind policeman mentioned that the lady in front of him was clocked at 55. Needless to say I paid for his lunch and offered to pay half of the fine. He declined the offer to pay half of the fine but asked if I would be willing to go to driving school for him. Unfortunately for him I gracefully bowed out of that request.
Some things never change!
