    1955 headlights

Last September there was a thread concerning 1955 only headlights. Since this a very rare part and not that many are still out there I thought I would post a picture of a pair that I just got. Note the configuration of the ink stamping (which indicates the date, shift, etc.) and the "12V" in the middle of the bulb and the "Guide" at the bottom. I would doubt that any of these were carried over to the '56 model since the new T-3 was made available and advertised to be superior in brightness and also directed the light better ("T" = tilted, "3" = 3 degrees) so this was a marketing tool for GM. Just thought someone might be interested.

....I always wondered what "T3" stood for. Thanks for sharing.
