Sources for C2 Window Regulator Rebuild

Thanks to Rick Pasqualone, I have good instructions as to how to rebuild my window regulators.. I have them all cleaned but before I dig in I have a question as to where to get parts..

I've found the gears, tracks, rollers and rubber bumpers (Paragon, LI Corvette and Dr. Rebuild) but need sources for the following....

Rivets and the springs which sit in the crank housing...

Also, there appears to be a plastic washer between the "arms"... should this be replaced as well? If so I would also need some fairly large rivets to reassemble the arms.

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

If I remember I think BAIRS had the large rivets for the regulators. That was 10 years ago or so the last time I got some. I have usually ground the one end of the rivet off and then tack welded it back on. The nylon washers could be made if yours winds up to be bad.

      Hope this helps,

          Joel,

no problem...and now that I thought about it last night, the last set of regulators I had to completly disassemble, I just ground the back of the rivets and poped the arms and gears off, cleaned, plated and reassembled with the old rivets and put a few good tack welds on the side I ground down. But 90% of regulators don't need to be taken apart that far. The problems usually are in the crank handle assembly and track rollers.
