56 Trunk Color

In a 56 Onyx black with red interior. Should the color of the trunk be black or red??? Should the compartment for the convertible be black or red???
The top (outside) of the trunk is black.....the flip side (inside) is red....doesnt seem right?? Any ideas???

Darren - the trunk interior and the underside of the trunk lid should be interior trim color - this information is also in the new '56/'57 manual. Hope this helps.
