    c2 body dolley

I have just finished using a body dolley for my 67 convertible . My question is "will this dolley work for C1' s and C3's as well for C2's ? " . I am planning on putting it in the driveline so I wanted to be sure it would work for other vetts. thanks

Del, I had a thread about body dollies a few months ago when I removed my '56 body from its frame. I built my dolly according to plans that the Nolan Adams Body Lift Workbook shown. My dolly was a disaster as it did not fit the C-1 body and in addition did not support the rear of the body. Body mounts on C-1 bodies are all at the same height. I believe that C-2 and C-3 differ from this in that the rear mounts are higher. If yours worked out well for a C-2, it probably could be slightly modified to fit a C-3 body. Some folks may disagree with this but I believe that your body dolly needs to support the rear of the body as well as the front without having to use a cable to keep the rear from breaking off. I wish you the best of luck with your restoration. Brooks Glover (2141)

        Del,

I've used my dolley on 3 C-2's and 1 C-3. Had to make a slight extention for the front of my C-3...front is slightly longer

Wayne, man power was my method but I removed the front clip for some repairs that made it easier. I bought my dolly . It is made of treated wood with 6 casters . Del
