    A few questions for my '65

    Hi!

    -Can anyone tell me what the oil temperature will be reach in the oilpan?
    -I'am replacing my exhaust manifolds for original. How much tork must i put on the manifold bolts for fasten them? (Newton/meter)
    -The exhaust manifold gasket does have two different sides, one with aluminium and the other just paper. which side goes where?

    For starters, there are no gaskets used in the head to manifold mating on an original factory assembly, nor are they required. The manifold to head torque is listed in the service manual as 20 Ft Lbs, most torque wrenches still can use this ancient form of measurement. Oil temperature varies, but generally will run 30 to 50 degrees above the temperature of the engine coolant (farenheit)
