    Shriners Plant Delivery 11/11/1966

    Omaha Tangier Shriners pick up there new 1967 Corvettes at the St Louis Plant Nov. 11. 1966. Pictures are from my Ed Teskey file. Ed was the Plant Superintendent and is 3ed from the left in the 2ed picture..

    The guy second from the left in the second photo (Jim Heise, Chief Inspector) was my boss at the Chevrolet Pilot Line in 1967-69.

      William,
      Thanks for sharing. I've seen the first pic before but not the second. My 67 also white was built at the same time as the Shriner cars according to the VIN's in the Restorer article some years ago. I drove by that spot about four years ago while in St.Louis and it looks the same.

          Tom; The only guy I can account for is Ed Teskey and he passed away several years ago.I meet is grandson about ten years ago and he is the one that gave me the pictures that I have posted over the years.

            I wonder how long some of those guys kept those cars. What a cool time. Sorry I missed it !

              My car was delivered ONE DAY before this event in beautiful downtown South Saint Paul, MN.....

              I bet it was a little bit more chilly in St. Paul than it was in St. Louis that day.
