Oh Know I DId It Again !!

Well I just got back from the best weekend away I have ever had. I packed the Vette to the brim and headed out for a 18 hr round trip cruise. It was the annual Hot Rod and Custom car show in a country town called Bright, Victoria, Australia.
After arriving safe and hassle free motoring as you would expect in a 1960 Vette. I pitched the tent and got horribly drunk.
After sobering up the next day I was on the water and never again will I drink alcohol ( I think I have said that many times). There were hundreds of Rods and old custom cars everywhere so I decided to go and have a peek at the Go to Wow ! After the event everyone was leaving and all were doing a small burnout on the way out. So I thought I would kind of show them how to do a better one. So genius (me) decided to let rip first, plonked it into second and with no brakes on coasted out sideways and let go third and backed off about 250 feet down the road. A couple seconds later I was escorted to the local police station and court house . After being lectured by the chief I asked him why myself and one other guy had been pulled out of hundreds of cars. He replied, " you guys did the best burnout by far so I thought you guys could be made an example of ". How cool was that !! After sitting for an hour thinking the worst he came back in and sent us on our way with don't do it again !!
So on the way out I said to the other guy mine was better than yours and we had a good laugh ! Stewy

Hey it's all fun as long as it's safe. There were so many cars there I couldn't believe my eyes. The town is like an Austrian Skiing village, set in a valley with hundreds of cars from Blown injected 34 Rods to a 1960 Corvette.
I will definitely get that photo hung in my garage.
I'm still a bit ill from all that beer ahhhh I'm never drinking again !!! Stewy

He also did a song "Too Much Fun". This guy sings songs about you!

Ah yes burning rubber. That has been the downfall of so many people. The police just happened to be around when I did it twice. Once I talked my way out of a ticket. and another time I had to bribe my way out.

Way to go!! But next time you do what you have said you will never do again for the 258th time, do it with a glass of beer in one hand and a glass of water in the other. By adding H2O into the mix you drink less alcohol and do not suffer from dehyration hangover! My motto: Drink smarter, not harder!

What Valeria water in one hand and a beer in the other !! I would be bashed to minutes of my life if I did that. I live in Australia and that doesn't work over here. I am a soft drinker over here and the guys I go away with talk in slabs (24 cans) not per can. Maybe I should get a new crew of mates. The earbashing I would get for drinking water after a beer would be worse. Stewy

Yeah right who's up for a shandy. I can see the stubbies hitting me and my car after that comment Ian.
You obviously have never been on a boys weekend away in Australia. The minute you open yours eyes in the morning you can here the cracking of the tinnies being opened. But there is one thing I have never done and that is drink and drive. I wont do it and will never do it. It's funny when I woke on Saturday morning I could even smell weed being smoked by the younger boys as well as booze first up.
