I am sure someone out there knows if a original 1967 gas gauge is a GM 0-90 ohm gauge. Building a restomod with a LS2 engine and in tank fuel pump. Told I need a different gauge, anyone know....Thanks

Re: gas gauge GM 0-90 ?
The original midyear fuel gauge sending unit is 0-90 ohms, and you must retain it if you're going to use the original fuel gauge; it's a powered voltage-divider circuit, which was never used on any other cars, not the usual GM single-wire and ground unit. If you're using aftermarket gauges (like AutoMeter, etc.), you'll have to use their sending unit, as they use the conventional single wire and ground circuitry and usually have unique resistance ranges.- Top

Re: gas gauge GM 0-90 ?
John, thanks for the response. I am keeping my original gauges, have converted the tack and amp gauge, Want to have the stock apperance with the gas gauge. The gas tank, is a Rock Valley with a internal pump. I think the gauge can be converted, I think Roger s Clocks may be able to handle it. Should be a nice ride when done- Top
