    '61 Side Cove Molding Installation

    How do you access the retainer clip on the bottom piece of cove molding on the fender of a '61 to tighten the nut on the clip?

      Richard, I believe it is probably like '56 on. (I am not going to say assume.) You can access the nuts behind the splash pan inside the fender and behind the kick panel from the interior side.

          The rear two retainer clips for the bottom fender moulding are screw mounted. If you have access to a 1961 Corvette Assembly Instruction Manual---the detail can be found at Section 11, Sheet 2.00.---Donald
