Yes, that's correct (except there was no liner between the top cambered leaf (#6) and the bottom flat leaf (#7). The liners had an elongated "H" cross-section, and the vertical ribs at the ends of the "H" kept the liners aligned with the spring leaves; there were no other liner-retaining devices.

Just went out and looked at them closer and yes there are four of them and they are made of plastic and hold the small liners in place. Thanks for you reply. My orginianl springs if I remember correctly, had rubber? liners that went the length of each leaf, yes?

I second what John Hinckley said about the original spring liners, and would add that they are a plastic-like material -- NOT rubber. It is a material that is specifically made to reduce friction between the leaves.
