C1 (55) Side Curtain Storage bag
I am in the midst of a decade long restoration of my 55 and have now gotten to the trunk area. When I bought my basket case, it came with a lot of parts tha tthe former owner had acquired. I have two problems with the side curtain storage bag that appears to be an old Knoch bag.
1-the interior is beige rather than black mohair called for by the judgeing manual
2-The mounting holes to no line up with the clips on the division panel. The are off by about an inch. (shrinkage?)
When I go to any sites that are advertising repros of these bags, including Knoch, there are no visuals. I e-mailed Knoch on both questions about his current repros, but go no reply.
Taht ws a long preamble to the queston of is there a current source for reporductions that has the correct interior and will actually fit to the clips? Of course if anyone had an NOS one...
