Dealer codes ans Zone numbers

I had a interesting find this weekend ,I found a mouse nest in the frame rail of my 72 coupe, and starting removing the nest and was finding peices of my tank sticker, there was enough pieces of the sticker to put together to find pieces of the dealer code and zone.

My question is is there a web site that lists that zone, there may be a number missing in the dealer code, but the zone appears to be (18).


Should I keep the pieces of the puzzle ?

Edward, look at the top of the tool bar on this page. There is a link to click on, Dealer Codes https://www.ncrs.org/dealercode/dealerzone.html

At the top of this very page is a radio button that says "Dealer Codes." A click there will get you your answer.

Of the 33 dealers listed in zone 18, most seem to be in Iowa -- so I would guess that zone is Des Moines.

Yes, and I would like to remind people who have documents like window stickers, etc. where the dealer and zone codes are shown to add them to the database. It comes in handy for people without them to help research. The more we contribute, the better the data.

Hi Edward,
I'm surprised the mice didn't 'process' the build sheet into part of their 'house'. I certainly would keep the pieces even if there's not too much information left.
Just where in the rail was the sheet?

Alan, The mouse did rip them in quite a few pieces, I have put the pieces together,thats what is left,it so happens what I can reassemble is the coror with the job number,dealer code with just two digits and the zone no.and also most of the opitons, I will look a little futher today for more pieces.
