Re: 1956 original battery!
Thanks for the great pic. Joe! It reminds me of when I was looking for a car in '65 and a fellow told me about this old farmer who had bought a white '56 2 door post new, factory 3 speed and dual fours. I checked the car out and it was! He was the original owner, had original paperwork, and pictures when new. We talked and I passed on the $600.00 price as it was a little high.- Top

Re: 1956 original battery!
Steve B, How about all the 67,68,69 Camero's with the blown motors left at the dragstrip Monday morning? I would call them from the number on tech card and tell them to get them out and they would say give me a $100 and keep it. I would say "no way". Dale- Top

Re: 1956 original battery!
Michael, I don't know who bought the car. It was for sale in Danville, IN, near Indianapolis. It was late winter when I looked it over. I was impressed because it had no radio and power windows, a configuration I like.

Re: 1956 original battery!
That sounds like the same car. I looked at the car in San Francisco in about 1978 when Parker had it for sale. I didn't buy it but I heard it eventually sold and went east.- Top
