I do not know much about this site or any of the others, but this thought occured to me. Just because someone says they posess something does not mean that it is for sale. Being that as Terry stated, this venue is NOT for selling parts or services of any kind, maybe....
"these people" knowing that the best thing to do is simply not answer to private requests to purchase items, rather than offend you or anyone else.
Just a thought...no offense intended
